POLICY

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the methods and purposes for which your personal Player Data (“the Player Data”) is processed, as well as to inform you about the rights you have regarding the processing. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you agree that you understand and accept the use of your personal information as set out in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Website or otherwise provide us with your personal information. This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.

The GambleVerse may periodically make changes to this Privacy Policy and will notify you of these changes by posting the modified terms on the Website. The GambleVerse may also inform you personally of any significant changes to this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to regularly examine this Privacy Policy for up-to-date information on the processing of Player Data.

Why we process your player data

Personal data allows the GambleVerse to identify the player. When you create an account on the Website, you are requested to submit your personal information (your name, date of birth, email address, etc.), and when you choose to make a deposit or withdrawal you are requested to submit your financial information (account and debit or credit card details). We may request additional documents such as a copy of your ID, passport, driving license, credit card, and proof of address in order to verify your identity. From a certain size of the transaction, we are also required to obtain a confirmation of your source of funds.

By logging in to the gaming site you give us the consent to collect and store the information on your location. This is needed in order to ensure that you are not playing in a restricted country. A country is restricted if gambling in that country is legally prohibited or requires a local license.

We only process your Player Data when we have a legal basis to do so. The processing can either be based on your consent, on fulfilling a contract between us and you, on complying with our legal obligation, or on fulfilling our legitimate interest. If you refuse to provide your Player Data to us, we are unable to provide you the service or parts of the service.

We obtain your consent for certain processing activities during the registration process, where you actively agree to the processing by ticking a box or implicitly when you deposit. The fulfillment of a contract requires, for example, that we process your account and debit or credit card details when you register as a real money player or choose to make a deposit or a withdrawal.

In some cases, we process your personal data in order to fulfill our legitimate interests. Such legitimate interests consist of protecting us and any other users of the Website against fraud including the use of stolen credit cards, or any other fraudulent or criminal activity (including any chargeback or other reversal of a payment). To fulfill said interest, we may check your details against and share Player Data with other online gaming sites, banks, credit card companies, and other fraud prevention agencies. We also have a legitimate interest to maintain and improve customer relations and our service and enabling efficient marketing. To fulfill said interest, we may use your personal data to communicate with you, to inform you about the changes in the Website, and, if not otherwise requested by you, to send promotional offers regarding gaming on the Website. We may also process your personal data for statistical purposes or to conduct research.

We may also process your personal data in order to comply with our legal obligations. For example, anti-money laundering legislation requires all financial institutions to collect and record personal data to confirm a player’s identity and to report any transactions arousing suspicion. We may also process your personal data for the purpose of supporting and promoting Responsible Gambling as well as preventing gambling-related harm and addiction and underage gambling.

How to collect player data

We collect your Player Data primarily from the moment when you create an account (Name, gender, address, email, telephone number, date of birth, and information about your preferred currency).

Your financial information is collected through a secure server (SSL) for your registration as a real money player. Additional documents if necessary, shall be uploaded through your player’s account.

To prevent fraudulent or criminal activity, we may also collect the player’s financial information from other online gaming sites, banks, credit card companies, and other fraud prevention agencies.

We also may collect records of correspondence, whether via the Website, email, telephone, or other means.

Data retention

We retain the personal data for the period necessary for us to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We may also retain necessary personal data to resolve disputes, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and comply with technical and legal requirements and constraints related to the security, integrity and operation of the Website and our service.

Generally, your personal data is retained for at least the duration of our relationship, and as required by the licensing authority.
